In this email, you will learn how to set up your account on Mailchimp and get started with your email campaigns.
Go to MailChimp’s home page and click on the ‘Sign Up Free’ button.
Once you’ve clicked on ‘Sign Up Free’, fill in your business email address, select a username and set a password, and click on ‘Get Started’.
You will get a confirmation email on the email address you provided. Check your email and click on ‘Activate Account’.
Now that you’re ready to activate your account, you will have to fill in a couple of other details before you get started with setting up your email campaign. The first thing you do is confirm that you’re human. Simply tick the ‘I’m not a robot’ button and confirm.
Next, you’ll be asked to fill in your first and last name. Fill in the details and click on ‘Continue’.
The next set of information that you need to submit is your business details. Fill in the name and your website URL and click on ‘Continue’.
Now fill in your mailing address and click on ‘Continue’. Please note that it is mandatory to fill in a mailing address.
In the next step, you’ll have to mention whether or not your business sells anything online. Select ‘yes’or ‘no’ and click on ‘Continue’.
You’re almost done now. In the next step, you’ll be asked if you’d like to share your email campaigns on your social media pages. Click on ‘Continue’.
Once you click on ‘Continue’, you’re all set. Your Mailchimp account is ready and you will be led to your dashboard, from where you can start your email campaigns and keep a record of how your email campaigns are working.
